Together with his newfound friends and teammates, they aim to free soccer from the clutches of the Fifth Sector so that everyone can finally play soccer that was meant to be played. Tenma is determined to bring Raimon Soccer Club back to its former glory. Overcome by the loss, numerous members left the team leaving only Tenma and a few players. In hopes of making a name for himself in soccer, he joins Raimon soccer club only to witness the team despairingly lose against a mysterious opponent who came out of nowhere. High who was well-known for its soccer back when they won the first Football Frontier International. Despite his rather obvious gifted talents, he still has lots of room for improvement. Japan and what used to be soccer has changed since the 10 years that have passed to the point where people loses hope and their reason for playing soccer. The story takes place 10 years later after the very first Football Frontier International in the first Inazuma Eleven series.
